Dermatologist Merel Urgert studied medicine and completed her dermatology specialisation in 2020 at the University of Groningen. After working as a physician-researcher for the Dutch Association for Dermatology and Venereology (NVDV), she practiced as a general and Mohs dermatologist at Ziekenhuisgroep Twente (ZGT). Her core areas of expertise encompass general dermatology, dermato-oncology and dermotosurgery. She has been practicing as a certified Mohs dermatologist at Bergman Clinics. Merel has moved with her family to New Zealand in 2026, and we welcome her expertise to the clinic.
