    Dr Ben Tallon MBChB FRACP ICDP-UEMS

    dr-ben-tallonSKIN is headed by Dr Ben Tallon, a highly respected specialist Dermatologist and Dermatopathologist. The only practising Dermatopathologist in New Zealand with International Board qualifications, Ben is a Fellow of the NZ Dermatological Society, the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, and an executive member of the Australasian Society of Dermatopathology. He is a member of the International society of Dermatopathology and the American Society of Mohs Surgery.

    Ben is the appointed Dermatologist for the Bay of Plenty District Health Board, and consults to Pathlab in Tauranga and Waikato as well as Medlab Auckland. He is a sought after speaker at International Dermatology Forums and has published numerous professional articles. Read Ben’s articles.

    An advisor for the NZ Melanoma Foundation and a MelNet executive committee member, Ben is committed to improving awareness of skin cancer and its causes to the wider community outside the skin institute.
